About

Vic Wasko is an Illustrator from North Carolina currently living in Charlotte. They tend to work digitally but also enjoy working with traditional media on occasion. Their art focuses on the storytelling capabilities of illustration through character designs, environments, and sequential artworks. Many of their pieces embrace fantasy, due to a lifelong love of the genre and the multiplicity of worlds and ideas that can grow from it. Their current personal project focuses on New Cauldstein, a fantasy city recently revolutionized by contact with other worlds and the magic that comes with that. After graduation Wasko aims to work in publishing, mainly focusing on graphic novels and other sequential artworks.

New Cauldstein: The Hearth of the Modarsus Sea

This is my senior thesis project, it focuses on the fantasy city of New Cauldstein which takes heavily from the late Victorian and Art Neuveau aethetically.
